On Wednesday 21st April 2004, Dads Express - a network of individuals and organisations,
men and women, concerned with supporting fathers' work - ran a conference entitled
"Fathers: The Good, The Bad and The Myths". This cross-Border event was a follow-up to the
"It Can Be Done" conference held in May 2002, and brought together 72 people who work with
fathers, or who hope to in the future, to ...
- connect with others interested in this field;
- begin to explore some of the good, bad and myths about fathers and fatherhood;
- identify future issues and foci for Dads Express.
The full conference report is now available in both "hard copy"
and on-line. To access the on-line document, please click on the links below. To speed-up
the downloading process, the report is broken-down into sections with few graphics.
However, these files are stored in Portable Document Format (PDF) and you will need to have
Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your computer to view them ...
[If you do not have this Adobe Reader, you can download a free copy of it
by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page and then following the instructions
on the screen. This process can take 20-30 minutes, so be prepared to wait.
The good news is that it will be very useful to you in the future - many large reports
are now available in this format on the internet for free ... so be patient! The Men's
