On Thursday 28th May 2002, The Men's Project ran a conference in partnership with the
North Western Health Board. This cross-Border event was called "It Can Be Done". It
brought together 90 people who work with fathers or who hope to in the future,
and encouraged them to ...
- reflect on the important role of fathers;
- listen to and understand fathers' experience as parents;
- explore the added value of increased fathers' involvement;
- hear about innovative projects which are currently supporting fathers;
- share practical guidelines/ideas about what is need to develop this work further
in the future.
The full conference report is now available in both "hard copy" and on-line.
To access the on-line document, please click on the links below. To speed-up the downloading process,
the report is broken-down into sections with few graphics. However, these files are stored in Portable

to view them ...
[If you do not have this Adobe Reader, you can download a free copy of it
by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page and then following the instructions
on the screen. This process can take 20-30 minutes, so be prepared to wait.
The good news is that it will be very useful to you in the future - many large reports
are now available in this format on the internet for free ... so be patient! The Men's
