Drumnamoe Nursery School

Parental Involvement is extremely important in a Nursery School and we are constantly examining new ways to encourage parents to become more involved in their children's education.

We specifically set out to target dads because we felt that they had little/no contact with the school. We ran a 4 week father's programme, which looked at a range of issues such as:

• health
• stress
• positive parenting

We also invited dads into the school for a presentation afternoon just before 'Fathers Day'.
