Help the Aged

SeniorLine is Help the Aged's freephone advice, information and advocacy service for older people, their relatives, carers and friends.

Our Northern Ireland office is staffed by trained advisors with in-depth local knowledge. Advisors are often called upon to advocate on behalf of callers, by negotiating with third parties and other agencies to resolve callers' issues.

Between 1st May 2006 and 30th April 2007, NI SeniorLine advisors answered 6087 calls and dealt with 12,063 enquiries.

SeniorLine would particularly welcome enquiries from male pensioners or their families, friends or carers regarding benefit entitlements or any other issues of concern.
