Overview of Work/Interest:

The Health Service Executive - North East Area's purpose is to promote and improve the standards of health and social well being for all people of the area, and to influence health and social improvement in collaboration with others. Its Mission Statement for the Men's Health Service is as follows: "In collaboration with various departments in the Health Services Executive North East Area - and in partnership with men, local communities, statutory and voluntary agencies - we aim to achieve enhanced health outcomes for men and promote men-friendly services".

Men's health activities include:

  • men's health campaigns
  • setting-up and supporting men's consultative groups
