East Belfast Sure Start - "Dads Work" Project

Aims
Inclusion of fathers into Sure Start project. Give opportunity for fathers to spend quality time with their children and be more involved in their learning and well-being.

What we do
Run a Dads' and Kids' Club on the first Saturday of every month. We provide joint sessions of play with dads and kids and also have sessions for fathers dealing with relevant fatherhood issues, on a group basis. Outreach in various community setting throughout the area ie Reading Initiative in local libraries.

Who we target
Fathers / grandfathers / male carers / fathers-to-be who live in the East Belfast area with children aged 0-3 years.
