We do the following:

• Provide outreach to isolated, disadvantaged rural men by visiting them and keeping in touch with them.
• Focus on education and health when we bring them together one night each week.
• Get outside speakers to talk on an issue (e.g. local history, making a will, addiction, asylum seekers etc.) followed by discussion or we may show a video that raises relevant issues.
• Put on occasional workshops on health, fathers, advocacy etc.
• Go on occasional educational outings (e.g. Ulster Folk Park)
• Mentor the men on an individual basis as far as possible.

The overall aim is to support and empower the men by trying to create community among them and by facilitating them to get their voice heard and attain some critical awareness around life issues.
