Overview of Work/Interest:
  • The Agency is based on a community development ethos - combating social exclusion, poverty and disadvantage, and encouraging local people to participate in community activity.
  • We work throughout South East Antrim with a diverse range of groups - parents, women, youth and senior citizens. In the future, we hope to facilitate health awareness programmes for men in our area - as we recognise that males often neglect their well-being.
  • The Agency sets-up projects in response to local needs; offers advice on funding; provides guidance on policy/good practice; assists with project planning and development.
  • Professional services provided by the Agency include: delivery of capacity-building training; administration (including PAYE and book-keeping); designing and producing publicity materials; renting rooms and equipment for meetings and events.
