NEXUS

NEXUS offers counselling and support to male and female victims of sexual violence. Sexual abuse, as a child or an adult, can have serious long and short-term effects. Victims can experience depression, have problems managing difficult feelings, they may abuse alcohol or drugs, or may self-destruct as a way of coping. Victims often feel alone and isolated, and counselling can help reduce that isolation and help them to learn a new and more positive way of living.

NEXUS provides individual counselling and support groups for male survivors. We also visit other groups to raise awareness of sexual abuse and to talk about how we can help and support victims in the community.
