| Overview of Work/Interest: | Northlands is an alcohol and drug agency which offers counselling, advice and
information on every aspect of addiction. In our Treatment Centre at
Shepherd's Way, programmes are both residential and non-residential. Our Information
Service includes a Community Library and Community Outreach Service based at
Pump Street. The Northlands approach is based on working with the person and their carers - not in isolation. All our work includes the family and community dimension. We keep up-to-date on all aspects of research and best practice, and our programmes have after-care support and follow-up.
Work with men is central to our organisation's interventions.
