Overview of Work/Interest:

Parenting Matters provides group-based parent support programmes across Northern Ireland. We deliver these programmes in local communities.

Parenting Matters also offers targeted support to parents in prison. This work has been ongoing for eight years and supports fathers to stay in touch with their children as well as helping them to enhance their parenting skills.

Other work includes supporting parents from minority ethnic groups and those whose children have behavioural difficulties. Parenting Matters provides a range of publications to support our work. This includes 'Information for Parents of Teenagers'.
