In the early months of The Men's Project we became aware that although there was a considerable amount of interest in men's work/issues, most people lacked access to materials which would help them to build upon their enthusiasm. Therefore, we felt that it would be important to begin the process of collating a mini-library of resources which could act as a "starting point" for individuals and groups looking to find direction and support.

However, this is not an extensive or definitive information bank. It can only grow as money becomes available to add to it. Many of the current items were funded by a small grant in 1999 from what was then the Voluntary Activity Unit of the Department of Health and Social Services (NI).

Our available resources are categorised under five headings. Unfortunately we are unable to loan-out these materials. However, anyone is welcome to view them by making a prior arrangement with the project. Please click on the topics below for a more comprehensive overview:
